For over a century, the Boonah Show Society has been bringing the community together to celebrate agriculture, culture, and connection in the Scenic Rim.
The Boonah Show Society is a proud not-for-profit organisation made up of passionate locals. Our mission is to create an unforgettable annual show that highlights the best of country life — from farming and food to family fun and entertainment.
The Boonah Show has been a beloved part of the Scenic Rim for generations. Since our very first show in 1898, we’ve celebrated the people, produce, and progress of our region with pride.
What started as a small country gathering has grown into a major annual event that brings together thousands — from farmers and families to school kids and stallholders. Across the decades, the show has remained a powerful symbol of rural resilience, hard work, and connection.
It’s more than just an event — it’s a legacy. A time when the community comes together to honour its roots, showcase its talents, and pass on traditions to the next generation.
